Andre Ethier’s Hit Streak

Los Angeles Dodgers right fielder, Andre Ethier, is dominating this month at the plate.  Ethier extended his hitting streak to 24 games this month! That means that Ethier has reached base with a hit in the last 24 games, an MLB record for the month of April.  Major League Baseball loves their obscure records, but the longest  hitting streak for April is impressive.

In terms of fantasy baseball value, I am a bit cautious.  Ethier had a somewhat similar start last year, only to fade a bit in the middle of the year.  But, there is no doubt that to date, he is one of the strongest outfielders in the majors.  He and Matt Kemp form possibly the finest pair of offensive outfielders on any one team.

Also, Ethier is a very devout Catholic!  So holler at yo boy!

A HTNL fist pump to Andre Ethier.

No, pumping your fist in the air, easily confused with the famed ‘fist bump.’

  3. Well, either he will continue to do well, or either he will not….either way it makes for interething batheball!

  4. Ahhhh. A la Tiger Woods after sinking a crucial putt? I hear you know. I thought you were offering Ethier a virtual fist bump through your blog. I see now.
