House repeals Obamacare, Abortion Next

Two wonderful pieces of legislation out of the House of Representatives today.  First, the House voted 245-189, a virtually party line vote to repeal Obamacare. Now, this will not repeal the disastrous legislation shoved down the throat of the American people last year.  If it passes the Senate, which it likely will not (it may be blocked and never reach a vote), the Benign King Barack will veto the bill on his desk, no doubt.  However, the House move does force Democrats to stand behind the Obamacare legislation, it forces them to show their hand, which will be very useful come November 2012.  It forces them to tell citizens, the vast majority of citizens who oppose Obamacare, if and why they support it.  Also, the vote serves as a powerful message to the American people who voted Republicans into the House in huge numbers.  The vote says to the American people, “we get it, you want Obamacare repealed, and we’re doing what we can.”

Secondly, and more importantly, the House moves to introduce on the “No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act” or H.R. 3 on Thursday.  This legislation would essentially enact the Hyde amendment once more and prevent federal dollars from funding abortion.  A powerful and effective way of ending abortion in our country is to de-fund the life-ending providers and institutions, mainly Planned Parenthood.  Please call your represtsentative and convey that you do not want tax dollars (or any dollars) to pay for abortion.  Let your representatives know that you are out there and that you value human life.  The legislation will be supported by Reps. Joseph Pitts (R-Pa.),  Chris Smith (R-N.J.) and Dan Lipinski (D-Ill.)  Lipinski is the representative of the 3rd district in Illinois which stretches from Palos to La Grange roughly and includes Oak Lawn.

Please pray to end abortion and oppose it in any way you are able.

  1. Great strides being made!

Please support them in action and in prayer!

    HTNL Nation, let’s get busy!!

  2. The problem is the president and many other politicians are bought by Planned Parenthood and its ilk. But let’s hope that if they do not feel the conviction of the Holy Spirit, they will allow these bills to pass out of fear of being ousted.
